Whole Home Renovation & Attic Conversion, Cabbagetown
The homeowners had been living in this outdate house for 10 years when they decided that enough was enough. They deserved a nicer space to live in.
The existing attic had massive potential - 14 high ceilings and a huge footprint. Not only did we turn that into a full living space but we also modernized the rest of the house.
Custom steel staircase, a new expansive kitchen and better traffic flow throughout the entire home. It’s like a new house without tearing down the old one.

A new custom kitchen blends seamlessly into the surrounding living spaces.
The old basement stairs were located in the corner where the sofa now lives. Moving these stairs allowed the creation of this living room. A coat closet neatly bookends the tv shelving unit.
Lit niches in the tv cabinetry are the perfect spot for collected treasures.
This custom metal staircase anchors the eye while also allowing lots of light to pass through it keeping the open feeling to the main floor.
The hardwood flooring was perfectly milled to wrap all 4 sides of each stair tread.
This angled steel panel adds a bit of whimsy to an otherwise straightforward kitchen layout.
This kitchen peninsula helps to delineate between the kitchen and the dining area to the right while also providing some much needed seating.
The kitchen island (right) provides double duty: both as storage and counter space but also as a natural stair guard. Three sides of the island are wrapped in steel to match the adjoining staircase.
Imported custom cabinetry from Italy makes this primary bedroom truly unique.
The custom steel railing provides ample light in the hallway which really helps to show off the art wall. Track lighting was installed solely to feature the homeowners art.
This bedroom features triple glazed windows which really cut down on the outdoor traffic noise. Rich wood tones in the furniture nicely warm the space.
This 3rd floor deck was once attic space. The glass railing and the surrounding opening was all roof prior to the reno. Looking west, this deck offers stunning skyline views of downtown Toronto.
This old attic space was turned into an entertainment destination complete with a bar and walkout deck.
The custom bar offers lots of seating, built in fridge and dishwasher and a mini sink. Look a bit closer and you'll see the disco ball!
Custom furniture really brightens up this living space. The window overlooking the Don Valley provided the perfect ambiance to rock out!
