Every renovation comes with surprises, especially in older Toronto homes where earlier work wasn't always done well. A few months back, we showed you some really bad framing we uncovered on this project. This is the follow-up.

The fix
We kept the existing ceiling height and dropped the beam, which let us create a nice, level ceiling. The drywall is now up, and the space is ready to move into painting.

Why it matters
Hidden problems like this are one of the most common hurdles in a renovation. What matters is having a team that can pivot quickly and fix them properly, so the finished space looks right and is built to last.
